18 April 2024
Last week, Jonathan and Katie headed over to Belfast to attend the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) conference.
Full Story
Spread across three days, they enjoyed a combination of interesting talks and presentations across multiple species such as pigs, poultry, dairy, beef, and sheep.
With a conference theme around ‘The role of livestock in our ecosystems and economy’, the three days saw delegates debate and discuss the latest topics affecting the world of animal science and cutting-edge research, giving opportunities to connect with delegates from around the world.
The final day saw Jonathan chair a very informative session on Precision Technologies in Livestock Management, Health and Welfare which had a great turnout and covered a range of themes from robotics to computer vision and machine-learning approaches to predicting outcomes.
A big thank you to the whole BSAS team for the organisation of the conference!
